We more or less stumbled on this on our last day in the area. We took one of the walks and it was quite pleasant. The visitor center has recently opened and it was informative. Wish we had a bit more time to spend there.

Easy to get to. There are two loop trails each about a mile and a half. The views are worth the trip.

A great place to spend an hour exploring. We did the 'ocean point' walk which was around 1.6 miles around the headland. Stunning views and butterflies galore!

Enjoyed the gorgeous setting and coastline trail with footpaths down to the water's edge. We did the entire loop, but next time would skip the inland portion. Saw deer, plenty of birds and butterflies.

I enjoyed the seascapes on the Ocean View Trail, a lovely place to walk off some our our breakfast on a sunny morning.

Sachuest Point is one place I always try to get to while visiting Newport. It's an oasis from all the hustle and bustle associated with Newport in the summer. There's some great trails that provide beautiful panoramic views of the coastline.

This is a wonderful place to hike, run, stroll, or take children. It is an easy and breezy walk with marvelous views and few bugs! Lookout points make it easy to bird watch, and there are several shoreline accesses to explore or fish. Looking forward...More

In some ways, the "best" spot is at Sachuset Point itself, which is between shoreline access points 2 and 4 on the refuge map that you can get at the headquarters or can download online (can't list the URL here due to TA... More

Its open, check on visitors center hours, sure it would be rough going with all the snow, trails aren't cleared. But some good viewing if you're up to it. Skis or snow shoes???
