Our family enjoyed our picnic and swimming at the park. The restrooms are very clean and have showers for a small fee. The grandkids played in the lake residue and all, it is lake water. Nice benches and picnic tables.

We hiked the Range Trail through Bender Swamp and then took the powerline throughway back to the park entrance. Would not recommend it: this time of year, the foliage is so dense there's little to see on the trail and the bugs are big and...More

The park was busy the day we visited. We went to hike. The trail was very easy. We liked the views near the dam. Plenty of people on watercraft. Restrooms were super clean. Many picnics happening.

Nice place to visit with family. Nice walking paths and facilities. Kids park and picnics tables make it easy to entertain the kids while having a picnic.

We rented the kayak and rowboat on the lake. It is a beautiful location, not very crowded (may be because it is not very popular) but it really worked for us. The staff is very friendly and guided us well with the rental. I would...More

Stopped here for a swim . No lifeguards on the beach . Swim at your own risk. The water was yellowish and un appealing. My daughter went in up to her knees and changed her mind. Ended up with a rash. Perhaps a pretty place...More

No control over: number of cars at a site(non paying)-number of people at a site-never hot shower water-speeding throughout the park-little or no security. Do not ck fishing/boat legality - out of state never have boat sticker or fishing license. Bath houses are dirty. They...More
