They have toy trains from the 1800's to current. There are multiple running train displays. There is even a display made out of Legos! I was surprised to see so many people visit and span so many age groups. It appears we all a little kid inside! It is worth s visit if you are in the area!

Wonderful history capsule captured in this museum. The highlight would definitely be sitting in the conductor seat on an old restored train.

The National Toy Train Museum is incredible! I felt like a kid again and wish I could live there! Makes my model train collection look puny! Definitely worth going to see.

Time and patience for the history of trains. Creative and informative. A treat to see so I can design a platform of my own.

Neat display of model and toy trains from the entire history of trains in the world. A lot of neat international trains. Has some displays for kids. Small museum for the price. I was glad we had passes from our local library. Beautiful building and new displays are in the works.

My husband loves trains big and small and we stopped by. Aside from the displays you expect, there was one display (the docent said it had just opened a week earlier) that had a lime green and blue train. This train you could play with using your cell phone. I downloaded the app while my husband checked out other displays,... More

Extensive collection of toy trains including exhibits from the 19th century. Different sizes and special occasion pieces. Had running displays with buttons to operate the accessories and trains.

Found this by accident but well worth the admission $7 adult $6 senior. Displays showcasing all the different guages and buildings. Trains are beautifully displayed with a short history. The displays are interactive and the kids were having a great time. A little off the beaten path. Able to see Amish farmers harvesting the corn stalks.
