Overview
More
The 5,286-acre Nockamixon State Park is in the rolling hills of scenic Bucks County, close enough to Philadelphia or a day trip, but far enough away for a vacation. Tohickon Creek, Three Mile Run, and Haycock Run feed the 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon, which is a rest stop for migrating waterfowl and a destination for boaters and anglers. Visitors can stay the night in a cabin or enjoy the many activities of the park for the day. Popular activities are picnicking, swimming in the pool, hiking, biking, disc golf, hunting, fishing, and boating. Seasons and Hours: The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk. The park office is open specific hours. Fishing and boating is permitted 24 hours a day in designated areas. Some park areas are closed to vehicles in the winter. Contact the park office for facility seasons and hours.

I love to fish, boat and kayak here. They have a huge pool, paved running/walking and biking paths and the sunrises and sunsets over the lake are absolutely surreal.

Decided to come here for Father's Day. Spent time here kayaking 🛶 around the Southern Boat Launch At Nockamixon Lake (2784 Three Mile Run Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944). It was nice and peaceful. It wasn't busy or crowded. Definitely coming here again❣️

This place was alive when we visited. A busy Tuesday with many boats on the water. We went to hike. The trail was paved so it was level and very easy. Many flowers along the path. Birds were a singing but hidden. Plenty of parking...More

The views are very nice and I appreciated that there were maps available (apparently not always the case). However, the trails are frustrating. While its easy to distinguish what is trail and what isn't, its impossible to guess which section of the trail you are...More

It is a very pretty local State Park. It has many walking and bike trails, boat docks, boat rental area and launching area also picnic areas. It also has modern State Cabins to rent also there is a pool.

This park is usually overcrowded in warm weather. The lake water is as clear as chocolate milk. Being located between Philadelphia and Allentown/Bethlehem, makes this like an inner city park on weekends.

There is a lot to do, throw Frisbee, walk, hike, scavenger hunt, find wildlife, picnic, boating, etc. Meet your friends and have a good time. The o Wow Cow ice cream place is not far away, also Top rock trail is close by. Enjoy!

Kayaking is not necessarily called for on a 53 degree day with 18 mph wind. But. It was still great to be here. Great setting and well organized. One of my go to kayaking state parks.
