Loved the actual bike riding and seeing the city. Needed less talking about guides personal life and knowledge and more time to take pictures and see more of the city. We literately would ride less than a mile and then stop for 15 minutes to...More

Hi Patricia, we are very sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations. If we had known in advance, we would have tried to accommodate you better. But our bike tours are advertised as historical and architectural bike tours, so we do like to...More
I took one of Val's excellent tours and it really helped me map out my two long business stays in the Burgh this summer. Plus I rented a bike for two weeks one trip, five days another. It came with a lock and helmet. I...More
Very good tour and nice bikes. Thanks Paul and Val for providing great insight into the history of Pittsburgh.
Great way to learn about the city and to familiarise yourself with the geography. Easy cycling as mostly flat.
Riding the streets of Pittsburgh was easy and fun with Paul and Val as our guides. Paul explained the architecture and the history so that we could make connections between the past and present. We crossed bridges and learned our way around downtown.
Dave, our tour guide, gave us a captivating history of the city as we pedaled from one landmark to another. I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and would highly recommend this bike excursion to anyone wanting to know more about Pittsburgh and it’s history.
We had a big group but Dave kept us all informed. Easy biking with tons of stops and almost no hills.
Would recommend keeping it to 8-10 people on the tour for the best experience.More

On July 26 my company was in town for a convention. We could only back first thing in the morning and Val and her team was gracious enough to have the bikes for us early. Everything was ready on time, the bikes were in solid...More
We went on a 3 hour tour. I would recommend this to anyone who is comfortable on a bike. The tour was 3 hours but alternating 10 mins of biking with 10 of stopping to learn about various landmarks. It was extremely hot but the...More
From our initial contact, Bike the Burgh Tours was an awesome way to rent bikes for a self guided tour around Pittsburgh. The website worked well, and a quick call to the shop answered all of our questions. The bicycles were well fitted and easy...More
I took the tour with my short 12-year old and it was a bit of a challenge. I believe an 8 year old will have a very hard time with the standard (adult size) rental that the tour company uses. Perhaps Val can suggest a place... More
