This is such a fun and unique place to see. I would never have imagined that there could be so many bikes in one place from so many different eras, of so many shapes and sizes, each with it's own story. Fascinating really.

Rode the Pittsburgh North Shore bike trail today, downstream between the city and the terminus at Western Penitentiary--and followed ample encouraging and informal signage to this off-the-beaten-path gem. Two floors (plus multiple nooks and crannies) of bikes through the years, historical information, memorabilia, gumball machines,...More

I'm pretty sure that unless you're a local there's no real way to anticipate what you're going to see. You visit an industrial park and step into a time machine where all things bikes, especially old and rare bikes, are on display. These guys love...More

We visited Bicycle Heaven yesterday. We ranged in age from 13-48 and we all loved it. I'm ashamed to admit that in all the years I've lived here I never knew this place existed. It took an out-of-town guests to suggest it and we went...More

My husband and I visited in January, 2017. We were welcomed as soon as we walked into the shop. The owner provided so much history of his place. It was a great way to spend a snowy Pittsburgh day. When in the "Burgh" don't miss...More

It is free. There is a donation box if you feel moved to donate. My husband bought a couple of shirts and talked to the proprietor for a bit. He was happy to chat and to sell the shirts.
