I spent several hours looking at the art and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I especially liked the European and American Art ca. 1820-1860.

This modern museum is one of the must places to go when in Pittsburgh. It is handicap accessible. The cafe is a great spot for a coffee. There are places to sit outdoors to sip your tea or coffee. So glad we went to this...More

If you like great art, you've come to the right place. There is so much to see! So many great works of art are on display. Tour are also available and there are some great gift shops where you can buy posters

Lots to see at this museum. My favorite was the Contemporary Art galleries. Good to see works by people other than white guys. AND, it's connected to the Natural History Museum. Amazing place.

It's not necessarily cheap but I love being in this museum. The modern art section is to die for and there is a ridiculous amount of more classical art for everyone to enjoy. You also can go to more than just the one museum off...More

Quite often major art museums/galleries can overwhelm the senses but here you can see the work of well known (and lesser known) artists ans sculptors in quantities which allow everything to be taken in.

Never enough time to see everything. Just so much. The panels from the French ocean liner Normandie are very special, but, then again, there are so many special things to see. A must see when visiting Pittsburgh.

There is a public pay parking garage behind the museum, four floors worth of it if I recall.
