So many markets and restaurants of all sorts. Every kind of food imaginable. Wonderful markets I wish we had where I live. All walks of life roam this area in search of something special. A must see and walk when visiting Pittsburgh!

Parking, Like any place in downtown, is a pain. Restaurants are ok, overpriced mexican, american and irish food. People and atmosphere are great though.

We went here to see what there was to see, and we definitely saw. There were some good deals and good eats all over the place. Park on Smallman Street, not a bad price and has easy access. I don't think I would go here...More

A lot of really good restaurants at the Strip District with various tastes and cuisines, and also a ton of T-shirt sports apparel places as well, would recommend going if only to crowd watch.

The Strip District is a must go to pace if you visit Pittsburgh. Restaurants (including the original Primanti Bros), shops, fruits, vegetables, books, and anything else you can think of. Sports stores to buy your team shirts galore! Fun place to walk.

Most of the stores close between 4 and 5 pm; restaurants are generally open later but some the diners and delis are breakfast and lunch only and also close early.
