Ohiopyle feels like WV's company town! They are all over all the activities that you will want to do here- even food and accommodation. I would call them, or stop here, first.

This was my first time whitewater rafting, and I was so nervous! The guides are very knowledgeable - please listen to them! It was chilly when my friend and I went, and the guide warned us not to wear cotton. I listened, she didn't, and she kept her cotton leggings on - she was freezing halfway through the trip while... I had never been on a bike trip before and didn't know what to expect. The Pittsburgh to Washington DC: Gap and C & O canal path bike trip was a wonderful baptism and I have to give credit to our amazing guides, Josh & Colleen. They were so kind, patient, knowledgeable and funny. Josh was able to answer any... More

This was a 6-day road bicycle trip in the Rockies. We'd taken the GAP trip before and loved it so much we jumped at this chance. The trip started at the continental divide at Loveland Pass. This was the coldest part of the whole week, perhaps 30 degrees or so. That's no problem with proper dressing. I'd advise layering up... More

It was an amazing bike journey with my two sisters & brother-in-law! Our guides Josh & Colleen were vital to the success of this trip! I have never been on a bike ride before and I chose a six day trip! I had no idea what to expect and needless to say it was a lot of riding! The encouragement... More

I loved this 6-day, 300+ miles supported bicycle tour on crushed rock/packed gravel rail to trail surface (days 1, 2, part day 3) followed by interesting but unimproved tow path surface along C&O Canal with Potomac River on the right side almost every mile. Not sure of actual distance, but 10-15 miles were paved. I have done over 40 week-long... More

Recently I was lucky enough to participate in the Pittsburgh to Washington DC: Gap and C & O bike trip with two of my sisters, my husband, and a friend. Our guides, Josh and Colleen, paid attention to every detail and entertained us with interesting history facts and their knowledge of the area including plants, birds, and animals was amazing.... I've done about 10+ bike tours --some were self guided and some were guided. Wilderness Voyagers is a first class tour company and I would highly recommend you travel with them. Their pricing is more reasonable than some of the other companies--but their quality is equal. We had 12 riders in our group which was perfect and we had an... More

My wife and I did the Civil War Battlefield tour and were very pleased. We visited Gettysburg, Antietam, and Harper's Ferry. Our tour guides, Chris and Richard, were helpful, informative and with a good sense of humor. The park guides really helped us to understand the scale of the battles and how they developed. The roads were FANTASTIC! In Gettysburg... More
