We took 5 of our grandchildren.children.on the trail with our bikes. It was nice.an flat for them to.ride. There ages were 5 to 11. We didn't have to worry about cars just other bikes and walkers. We even saw some squirrels,groundhogs and cows.

This rail trail is our family's favorite place for a good walk or bike ride. We walk here many times a week. The trail goes from Newville all the way through Oakville to Shippensburg, but we mostly walk the trail head in Newville.

NicE Trail through the countryside/farm land. Needs some maintenance to fill areas that have ruts or wash out. Some areas (hills) are paved but the rest is small gravel. Generally not too busy. An occasionally horse on the horse trail.
