The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad is nestled 37 miles outside of Philadelphia in Bucks County’s premiere destination; New Hope, Pennsylvania. A Delaware river town chock-full of niche shops and resturants, a fitting locale for a day or night out with friends & family. We provide a glimpse into travel of a bygone era on historic trains traveling over tracks that were laid in 1891 by the North-East Pennsylvania Railroad.

We took the music and story time ride. The children got a snack and the adults could but beverages. The train went through the woods and back again. It was fun to see the cars waiting while the train crossed the road. The kids had...More

We took the 90 minute ride and found is extremely interesting. The train guide told us that coach we were sitting on was built in 1913 and we were really amazed. The diesel engine was bought in 1963 and we were amazed that it was...More

Just wanted to ride the train. We took a 45 minute trip down the tracks and back. We were the only riders so they sold us the expensive tickets (Fancy Car). Refreshments available on train. It ran about $30 a person plus $15 parking.More

Ok, so we're older, but just wanted to take the train ride. It's about 45 minutes, simple ride out to Lahaska and back. Kids love it. They even serve simple snacks and drinks. Not cheap, but just to do it is fun! We were in...More

Three of us took the train ride and enjoyed the scenery and historic commentary. The open air car had a nice breeze on a hot summer day. Refreshing drinks are available on board. Overall, it seems a little pricey for a 45 minute ride.More
