I have been attending the PA Ren Faire since 2011. I have since moved to FL but still make a return trip to PA every fall for this event. Venue: The grounds are vast and really give the event an authentic feel. The actors and...More

Several of us went to the Dickens dinner (at 1:pm). We all has a good time with lots of laughter and good company. The meal was decent and filling, but fell short of what was advertised. There were no butlered hor d'oeuvres (some crackers on...More

This was not a good evening for us. We’ve been to the Dickens Christmas events at the mansion several times in past years. We found them to be funny and entertaining. This was our first dinner theater there and our last. The food was mediocre...More

Attended the Dinner Theater in the Mansion: Holidays at Mount Hope. Food was awful. Dry potatoes, hard stuffing, undercooked string beans and stale cake. Hardly any interaction. Over the top silly acting. Not amusing. Just too much silliness that made it seem like no one...More

Adults and children alike have fun at the home of the Penn Ren Faire. So much to see and so much to do. With plenty of fine foods, drink and entertainment. Don't forget to purchase a few bottles of your favorite Mount Hope Wine.

This was a family trip. There were eight of us. It was the first time there for all but three of us. We enjoyed wandering around checking out the shops and the faire guests in costumes. The highlight was participating in a "sword" fight with...More

This winery was nothing like it's advertised. Granted, we were there on a Tuesday evening about an hour before closing, but we should have rated at least a hello or can I help you. The only man in the shop decided to get off his...More

We've been going to the PA Ren Faire for 3 or 4 years now, I think. My kids look forward to it each Fall. It's quite pricey, and is a drive for us, but we always have a good time!

The faire itself is great, been going for over 20 years, but lately seems they are just looking to increase revenue. Did glass blowing last year and it was great. Booked again this year and it was awful! Went from an informative hands on experience...More

We are sorry to learn that you did not enjoy your glass blowing experience and will share your comments with the glassblower. Most of the craft and demonstration vendors are independent businesses from the faire and we are certain he will want to hear your...More

We stayed at Gifford Pinchot State Park (about 1/2 hour away but easy to get to Faire via PA Turnpike). The sites are nice, private and they have electricity as well as clean bathrooms and showers.
