While there were lots of rides for toddlers and small children storybook forest needs a lot of love. The statues need painted and the landscaping needs work. We did not make it to soakzone. My kids are 1 and 4 I would suggest a two...More

We bring our kiddos here every year instead of their school picnic. They would rather swim than just ride all day. This park has something for everyone. Wave pool, lazy river, water slides, Story Book forest, Jumping Jungle, Racoon Lagoon and so much more. We...More

This park was okay. Definitely was expecting more for the $43 price tag! Needs serious updating, starting with Storybook Forest. I get the nostalgia factors for not updating the Storybook Forest but it was pretty boring, and the "path" you are instructed to stay on...More

My wife and I along with our daughter and her two young children and our son with his wife and son all visited the park. It was a perfect weather day, short lines at the rides and a good time by all, young and older.

We had a group of 18 including 5 young children. Found a nice picnic area next to the C1 parking lot that was a short walk from the cars while carrying coolers and other picnic items. The park is very clean and nicely maintained. When...More

We heard about Idlewild's Daniel Tiger land and booked our trip. Our kids are both under 5. The park was exactly what we'd hoped it would be -- very fun for young kids, plenty to do and see, and worth the price. We came on...More

why does this park close in the middle of August? I was just looking for a trip in maybe the end of August and thought we could swing by Idlewild Park one day. I was surprised to see that it closes mid-august and has limited operation on weekends. Thats so much lost revenue in the summer. I don't get it.

The help hired at the Park are college and high school students, many are heading back to school, thus no one is there to operate rides and stands. Unfortunately, as beautiful as the Park is, the owners aren't taking care of... More
What besides Storybook Forest can an 18m old do here? She walked fine on her own, but I'm worried she can't ride kiddie rides by herself yet.
