An interesting farm. House and barn; some farm animals. Yes, George Washington did stay here and planned his crossing of the Delaware river from here. Some re-enactings, some colonial crafts. Good for photographers and when holding colonial craft days it's great for kids.

We had a few hours before the late afternoon wedding we were attending nearby and our brother-in-law saw that there was a harvest festival going on here. It was great. Esp. For families. Our favorite was the apple cider press demonstration - this was the real thing, done as in days of old. Both interesting and hands on (for the... More

Nice place to check out to see how the people lived back in the early days...early 1800's nice tour by candle light. Really was a nice night out. Reinactment was spot on.

We are very fortunate to live near this historic site. We have visited many times and our grandchildren have gone to the summer camp which they really enjoy.

Went to a candlelight tour with family and friends. It was cold but gave us a very good representation of how life was at the time of the American Revolution! Would be a very good visit in conjunction with Valley Forge National Park.

I read all of the prior reviews AFTER my wife and I visited on a lovely September afternoon and I agree with all of the previous observations. This is a lovely way to spend an afternoon: touring the historic house, walking through a Colonial garden, wandering the grounds. We will definitely be back.

A delightful place. I especially like the preschool education programs run by Mrs. B. She is wonderful with the little kids.

A gem of a farm, offers a time capsule of when "George Washington slept here." Lovingly and accurately restored. Period era crops and animals (nice sheep!). Tours are well-done; guides really know their stuff.

Great place for the family, walkers, photographers, joggers, couples and history buffs. Bring your leashed dog, he'll love it too! Farm animals always win over the kids!
