I enjoyed seeing the falls. It was a short well maintained path to the falls. I would say the walk was about a .5 mile not much more or less. They need to place a larger sign showing one that this is the destination and...More

Nice hike. Easy waterfall is very nice about half way through the trail off the path slightly. Good for all age levels. Rhododendrons line the paths. Nice and shady and cool. There is also a boulder trail across the street.

Short easy trail for kids (very family friendly). Small beautiful waterfall. Close to Lake Harmony, where we stayed.

What a view from the top, middle and bottom as you scamper among the rock ledges along the trail that leads from the road to alongside Hawk Falls. 'So amazing for city people and lovers of the woods. Relatively short, downhill trail to get there,...More

Yes it is free but can be difficult to find it b/c there is not a big sign and its before you get to the main entrance of the state park.
