Went on a weekend in April, sunny day, and surprised there were so few people there. A variety of activities - good playground, fishing, frisbee golf, trails to walk around the lake, picnic tables. Trails a little rough for a wheelchair but manageable.

Anson B. Nixon Park is a little jewel in the heart of Kennett Square. It's great place for family picnics, take a walk with your children and dogs or play ultimate frisbee. In the summer, the park hosts free concerts on Wednesday nights.

You must pay and prearrange the rental if you plan to use the pavilions for a gathering. The park itself is free to enter.
