I live in the area and get a garden pass every year. The price has gone up, but it's still a good deal that pays for itself within about three visits. You can spend an entire day here just walking around and still not see everything. The staff are super friendly, the place is immaculate, and everything is very easily... More

I visited Longwood Gardens as a child, more than 40 years ago. I recall many things about Longwood favorably, including the fountains, the conservatory, the gazebo, and the chime tower. I am now back to visiting Longwood again. It is truly better than I remember it, which is difficult to achieve. We have now seen two special shows at Longwood:... More

A beautiful winter day led us to the gardens which was a great experience. The crowds were large, but the garden staff was very accommodating and helpful. I would love to come back when the flowers are out and in bloom. The only downfall was the cafeteria area was extremely busy, but the staff helped move everyone through with little... More

We have always enjoyed Longwood! The orchid show in the middle of winter is an amazing splash of color and happiness! We always learn something new on our visits. We were fascinated at the Pierce-Du Pont house. As a side note, If you are a Pokémon Go collector, we caught many new ones while walking around!

Longwood Gardens is a wonderful place to visit year round. When it's warm the outdoor gardens and grounds are perfect for long and short walks. When it's chilly outside the beautiful plants and flowers in the conservatory are a welcomed reminder of spring. Check out the list of musical offerings. There are some wonderful concerts available. The children's garden is... More

We have visited Longwood gardens during 3 of the different displays. One is more spectacular than the next. The orchid exhibit is amazing, as is the spring tulip display, as well as Christmas. There are several areas for little ones to play in. I would recommend bringing or renting a stroller. There is a lot of walking. It is also... More

My children and I enjoy the Christmas lights and displays at Longwood Gardens so much that we come back every year. We always make an evening of it - starting with dinner and then enjoying the sights. We were, however, very displeased with this year's change to the dining. In the past dining at Longwood has been very organized despite... More

Visited the gardens for the Christmas display. What a beautiful way to spend the afternoon/evening. Dress warm if you plan to walk the gardens at night.
