A great whitewater rafting outfitter on the Lehigh River, whitewater kayaking school, paddling shop, bike rentals, sales, shuttles, and repair, and a cafe featuring wonderful coffee and delicious food. Summer is best for 2 reasons. 1st, the dam release dates are more common in summer. This means stronger currents = more exciting rapids. 2nd, the water is not as cold. You will get wet, so if the weather is cool, you may get... More

they provide life jackets of course, and had racks of wet suits, for rent I think, very few people took advantage of this - everyone just wore shorts and t-shirt. open sandals are not permitted, make sure you wear closed... More
