Stop by if your in this area. Very nice memorial, well kept and professionally designed. The entire life story of Mr. Thorpe is laid out for your viewing. Very interesting and would be educational for young people.

Didn't have a lot of time but we did have an opportunity to stop at the memorial they have dedicated to Jim Thorpe. Plan ahead if going into town, a lot of the shops were closed when we visited.

The Jim Thorpe Memorial is a location that everyone should see. The highlight is the Thorpe mausoleum and the statues that commemorate his athletic prowess. The interpretative signs do a great job of telling the story of arguably the best athlete in our country's history....More
