Overview
More
Pebbly Beach is a beautiful sand beach famous for its swimming kangaroos. The local kangaroos often come down to the water for a dip on a hot summer afternoon, and if not will be lazing about on the dunes behind the beach. It is one of the only beaches in Murramarang National Park that is accessible by car.

This is a hidden gem and the fact that it is 'out of the way' is its appeal to our family. No electricity, no hot water - perfect to get away from the creature comforts of our hectic life back in the city. Our family...More

Definitely a magical moment but not sure how "wild" they are. It seemed every home in the area had a few pet kangaroos in the front garden - an amazing sight. It's a long drive from from any major city - close to 5 hours...More

This was by far the most magical moment we experienced in Australia, though part of the magic was that we did not know that wild kangaroos lived near the beach, so we were amazed when they were there. You have to drive off the main...More

These kangaroos are wild but human tolerant. I guess humans have been giving them food over the years. It's a great place to snap a picture of a kangaroo on the beach. We saw a dozen of them peacefully grazing and then just chilling laying...More

The perfect spot to experience our amazing beaches. Squeaky white pristine sand, you have to go a long way to better it. Perhaps a picnic on the lovely green grass, or bring the children and feed the kangaroos. Relaxing anD beautiful 🌞

We visited Pebbly Beach at the end of August 2017. We arrived around 9 am and there was one other car in the car park. You have to pay AUD 8 as an entry fee to the national park, which you pay at the parking...More

This is a must visit if you are in the area. It's a part of the national park and at the end you have a beach. Kangaroos are peacefully feeding on the beach. They seemed to be unfazed by the humans around. The beach itself...More
