A long time supporter of Perisher, I have bought a season pass for the last 5 years and have been skiing at Perisher for a good 8-10 years before that. This year, I unfortunately injured my spine and need surgery so won't be able to...More

My daughter was too young for adult ski classes but almost too old for ski school. She did 5 days of ski school and they taught her so much. Even though she was so much older than the kids in her class the teacher made...More

Our circumstances were unique as we were travelling with a special needs child. We had a problem which was resolved very quickly by management and due to this it may help make the transition for other special needs families to have a great snow experience....More

This place has by far the most terrain in Australia. The place is essentially 4 interlinked area - Perisher, Smiggins, Blue Cow and Guthega. You can easily ski/board between all the areas. Perisher is where most people arrive to the resort and gets very busy...More

Thanks to a late season, we had a great 3 day weekend skiing (14-16 Sept). One thing that took a shine off the skiiing was the lack of facilities outside of the the Perisher centre and the Mid-station. The toilets at the base of Mt...More

From 10th September, Perisher still advertising 46 out of 47 lifts open.. Wat a load of crap. Once on the mountain they had probably 36 lifts operating & the others "on demand".. Meaning they aren't officially closed...but they aren't on either...That way they state open....More

Starting at Smiggins Holes as a great location to teach the basic skills. Over the mountain to an extensive area with huge variety of slopes. Queues do develop but there is great choice and variety in slopes. The further you are prepared to go from...More

Huge choice of lifts and runs. Well coordinated. I like the Epic Pass, might do it next year! Slopes were well groomed. Operators were friendly. But $6.50 for a coffee at Mid? You gotta be kidding!

We went when everything was open. The way they all link means there is something for everyone. Lots of lifts. Perisher could replace those T bars!!! There are enough chair options and if you move around you should find a place that has no lines....More

Timing the snow here is just luck. If you are not driving, then fly to Canberra or Cooma and then hop on a bus. Canberra has great food and a few good tourist attractions. For accomodation in Perisher try the Stables.
