The vibe is timeless but the place has evolved plenty sonce my first visit 20 or so years ago. The visitor center is a good place to start. Plenty to see just walking around the town after you visit this center.

We went here today and the reception is very warm. The lady was very helpful. They sell t-shirts but very less souvenirs to choose from. Very limited gifts to buy from nimbin

Visitor to Nimbin? Do yourself a favor and visit the Nimbin VIC and use their wifi to download an app you can use to tour around the village. It's great

This centre had information about the history and ethos of Nimbin. The ideals may be a remnant of a bygone era, but some may be revived in the future. There are politically correct souvenirs and locality information from friendly staff.

With it's notoriety Nimbin gets a lot of visitors. And therefore a small tourist information centre is justified. This one has a number of information boards for you to learn a little of the history of the town and a lot of tourist knick-knacks to...More
