I have wanted to go to this place for a quite some time, with a keen interest of the paranormal it was high on my list to see. I was not disappointed the night was quite spooky and has some interesting things occur. However it was also the history of the place I loved, and the freedom to wander the... More

This homestead has a spooky past but no ghosts showed up on our day. An amazing collection of antiques. No guided tour but lots of info from the owner on arrival. Low cost of $10 cash only. She still lives there so some rooms are off limits. Well worth the money.

This was a spur of the moment thing - a decision to stop in at the Monte Cristo Homestead in Junee. My wife and I had always wanted to finish and woke up this morning and decided to drive the short distance from Wagga Wagga to Junee. We were greeted by Olive Ryan - who was full of stories, very... We came specifically to Junee for the Monte Cristo, both being fans of a good scare! We were greeted by Olive Ryan (caretaker of the homestead), and she gave a brief description of the history of the home, including showing us the entrance area (which is covered in photos and articles), showing us the work her husband had to put...
