The beach is rumored to have the whitest sand in the world. And the sand is so soft it squeaks under your feet. It certainly is white and it really does squeak. The beach itself is pleasant but off the beaten path with very limited parking and very limited amenities.

This beach looks quite nice but there is no parking. The day we were here was not even that nice a day and still heaps of people here and not enough parking spaces. Would hate to see it on a hot weekend or summer school holidays. The sand is lovely white sand but the little creek running onto the beach... More

If you want to experience a pristine, beautiful beach look no further. I have just spent 4 days @ Jervis Bay & the highlight was swimming at this beach.

Beautiful beach with white sand in NSW. Nearby beach was nice too. Such a clear water on the beach ... there's a cafe nearby if you're hungry or wanna grab a cuppa.

I visited Hyams beach on a Saturday, therefore it was really busy. The beach itself was lovely and the water really clear. If you want the best experience it would be best to visit this one on a weekday as it is one of the popular ones.

One of the most beautiful beaches anywhere in the world. Unfortunately it can get very busy and parking can be a problem.

Whitest of white sand, bluest of blue water, even when it is busy its less crowded than a Sydney beach - would recommend for a day trip or a weekend away. Would pack a picnic though as the one food outlet at Hyams is pretty expensive and nothing to rave about!

it's about 2.6km long including Chinaman's beach. due to accessibility, beach area near hyams rd & cyrus st can get quite busy (parking could be a challenge). if you can hike, beach area towards south can be peaceful and not crowded. note that there are no beach guards around. you can do snorkeling to see corals and small fishes. water... This beach was amazing, the sand so white and the water so green it seemed to be in Thailand! The big negative here is that the beach was a bit overcrowded and full of chineses screaming, probably cause of chinese new year holiday season. We decided to go to jervis bay national park and it was way calmer and relaxing!... More
