Breathtaking views; Sunset at the Lighthouse a must do in Byron.

Whether walking or driving ensure you arrive 30 mins before sunset and then relax and enjoy all aspects of the views from this very special location. Gorgeous.

I recommend to go to the light house via the trail. By car you will have to pay the car park which is 4 dols or 8 dols depends on where you stop. If you go by car i recommend to arrive late on the afternoon to enjoy the sunset.

A focal point, lovely to see up close. Nothing really to add except for surrounding trail, reviewed separately

Amazing views beautiful sunrises/sunsets very interesting history parking is an absolute nightmare so if you can walk up the trail and save yourself all the hassels and enjoy what nature has to offer. You will have a better experience. Just do it!

Strenuous walk up and down, but worth it...take water if it's hot! We were told it was a short walk and there were no signs directing you so ask which is the easier and more difficult routes.

Well kept lighthouse and guesthouse which tell a little story of the history. Great views of the ocean and we were able to see dolphins, turtles and stingrays

If you do one thing in Byron Bay, make sure you do the Lighthouse at sunset! It's a bit of walk up the steps - quite steep at some points, but the ocean views are quite spectacular. Make sure you take a bottle of water with you - it's thirsty work! Once at the top of the lighthouse, you will... More

Got told by staff at a camp site we stayed in to visit this place and I was so stoked that I did with my partner and friends. Truly amazing and the views are truly magic. The trail to the bottom was beautiful. Parking at the top cost $8 but well worth. This I'll recommend to family and friends as... More
