The Back O' Bourke Exhibition Centre provides a wonderful insight into the lives and stories of Bourke and the Back Country of Australia. Enjoy the Exhibition Centre along with Bourke's other attractions such as the Jandra paddleboat, now cruising the Darling river and the Back O' Bourke Outback Show, featuring Luke Thomas and his band of Bullocks, horses, camels, dogs and ducks!A must do experience. Great packages available. Now open!

Very nicely presented. Lots to read. Perhaps a few more exhibits like farm implements or wagons or other artifacts would make it more exviting

Very well arranged history of Bourke and Western News South Wales. A credit to the Bourke Shire. There are histories of Fred Hollows and Mother Thereza who visited Bourke. And videos and photos of the Afghan camel drivers, the wool years and transport by paddle...More

Presentation is excellent. The exhibition contains a great deal of information - possibly too much for one visit. However I believe the tickets are a two day pass. Very helpful lady on reception. Entry price of $21 each for seniors possibly a little too expensive....More

Called in this morning ready to have morning tea and then view the exhibition. Apparently the cafe is closed Monday and Tuesday. This is amazing for Bourke's major attraction. Is there a sensible explanation for this arrangement? Thanks goodness the bakery in town has good coffee.

Back O Bourke can be combined with Jandra Paddle Boat cruise down the Darling. From Memory it's very reasonable. We bought a family pass, so maybe at the most $35. - $45 combined for a couple?
