I am not a 'believer', but this church and the location are heavenly. We first visited here in the 90's and this was our 3rd visit. If ever you need a spot for gathering of thoughts, quiet reflection, and soul restoring peace and tranquillity, this is it. Beautiful gardens at any time of year, views and sounds of the Creek,... Came here for a wedding. Exceptional setting and building. First rate in all respects. Leave time to wander through the almost sub tropical churchyard and the run down to the water.

We first visited in the 1970's and is still as beautiful today. Such a tranquil spot - I guess not so in the high season but perfect for a February afternoon wander. The most amazing place to be laid to rest.

Both the church and the cemetery are well worth a visit. Steeped in history, you can feel the centturies roll back as you walk among the tombstones

An ancient legend says that the church stands at the spot where Joseph of Arimathea came ashore with Jesus (see Blake's hymn- And did those feet in ancient time). This gorgeous 13th century church is set in riverside gardens and inside the church are the names of the resident vicars going back to 700AD. The overall scene is one of... More

We visited the church today to enjoy it's wonderful architecture and beautiful creek-side surroundings. However , even better , did we also enjoy the welcome made to us by a group of ladies working in the church . Thank you .
