Amazing informative nature walk
Jun 2021 • Family
We took part in the Nature Walk, and it was a fascinating couple of hours.
We got to try out pond dipping with expert help to identify what we had caught. My son loved seeing the damson and dragonfly nymphs.
We then took a walk up to a beautiful meadow where we were able to see slow worms, voles, toads, lizards and even a bumble bee nest.
Every moment of the walk was packed with fascinating facts by our friendly knowledgeable guide.
Both my son and I had an amazing time and would not hesitate to recommend this. He has already asked when we can go back!

A family took a stroll in the deep dark wood, they found Feadon Farm and the farm was good.

We took our 18 month old son to a Christmas 'meet the animals' session. The staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. They were very patient with our little boy and they made sure everybody got an opportunity to meet all the animals if they wanted to.
We spent a good amount of time with owls, foxes, mice, ferrets, reindeer, goats, a hedgehog and a snake.

We all loved it.

Great family activity!
Dec 2020 • Family
It’s hard to find family activities that tick everyone’s boxes but yesterday’s experience at Feadon Farm did just that.
We felt completely safe, in awe of the array birds & everyone learned a lot.
Gary did a great job. Thanks for a great day!

Fabulous morning
Dec 2020 • Family
We attended one of Feadon Farms “Meet the animals” sessions. Gary introduced us to so many different animals and provided us with lots of information about them all. My little boy had an amazing time, and despite being only 20 months old, the tour was definitely aimed at all ages. We went in “covid times” and everything felt really safe.
Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Educational but fun
Nov 2020
We did 2 experiences here. Amazing hands on time with the animals. Flying owls and hawks. Even took the hawk around the field getting him to fly off and back.

All the staff were very passionate about the animals and they were also great interacting with all the guests.

Would really recommend the experiences to people.

Great experience for the whole family
Oct 2020 • Family
We stayed at Gwel an Mor and so booked a visit to Feadon Farm. We visited with two children aged 7 and 20 months. Our guide, Gary, was lovely, he was very informative and very welcoming. I didn’t expect my 20 month old to be able to take part in feeding/holding the animals (booked more for my 7 year old) but Gary was amazing. He involved her in every experience, making sure that she and the animals were safe. She was able to stroke all the animals and even held a barn owl. He explained how to approach/stroke/hold each animal to all the children and adults. The animals are very well looked after and is obvious in the way they trust Gary. It was good value for money and I do feel that they could charge more for the different experiences. Thank you for giving both my children a wonderful time.

Wildlife Experience
Oct 2020 • Family
We had an amazing tour for our party of family and friends, including teen/tween boys. All were totally captivated by Gary’s tales of the local wildlife, bird calls and more. His enthusiasm swept us along on an otherwise damp and windy autumn day. Highlights for us were meeting the adorable little owl Dot, the joy of Margaret perching on our gloved hands and meeting the friendly rescued foxes for treats, strokes and kisses, beautiful snakes a toad and more. Really this has been a fascinating afternoon to remember.

A walk on the wild side with British wildlife enthusiast at Feadon Farm
Oct 2020
Our whole family loved the Wildlife Experience (our group age ranges 8 to 80). With the enthusiasm for British Wildlife that I haven't heard since walks with my grandfather years ago, we set off on a proper field trip with Gary. We all had a turn flying Margaret the Owl, as well as meeting Dot the little owl who was getting used to humans, and meeting rescued foxes and snakes, by the time we tore the boys, and grandma, away from the snakes we realised we had overrun by an hour! Check out this trip if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!
