Really Nice

Didn't go in expecting to buy but in the end heart ruled head and I sprung for a painting. Couldn't resist :) It now hangs in the bedroom and brightens up my day.

I used to show some of my work at this gallery, but it's very small and doesnt get much passing trade. It's ok though to spend a rainy half an hour in.

Friendly staff and lots of work from many artists. A treasure house. Cards and items for gifts, inspiration and highest quality from real artists, not the painting by the yard types!

Wednesday 17 jJune 15, We went to visit the Mid Cornwall Art Gallery situated in an old school building in St Blazey. This gallery has been here for 35 years and it hosts the work of local artists, sculptors, as well as works done in wood and stone by local artists and craft persons from the Fowey, Liskeard and Bodmin... Mid Cornwall Galleries is a hidden treasure trove of high quality art and contemporary crafts. Parking is easy, and there is plenty of space inside to wonder around and browse before being tempted to buy something gorgeous. There are several rooms to see, make sure you look in all of them, as the back room has a fabulous collection of... More

This gallery has a good selection of paintings and other work, mainly from local artists, at a range of prices. Interest free payment schemes are available to spread the cost of more expensive works. There is also a great range of jewellery from local makers.

Great big space (I think it used to be an old victorian school building) with lots of work on display. I go there when I need to buy a gift for someone and always manage to find a nice piece of jewellery or some pottery that fits the bill. The previous reviewer said there were 'no boundaries being pushed' which... More

Lots of lovely local art, nothing terribly spectacular, no boundaries being pushed, just the usual 'inspired by the ocean' happiness and light. Great building, though it did smell like mold.

I love this gallery! It is spacious and immensely interesting and I almost always stop for a browse when nearby. As well as many superb paintings, there are displays of a number of the better local crafts. If you stop here, allow time to explore it all.

A bright and well presented gallery showcasing the best of Cornish Art (and there is lots of it). It is a bit of a surprise, as in St Blazey which is not the smartest place in Cornwall. But the gallery is superb.
