This is our beach of choice, as we only live four miles away, it's got a large car park (at the top of the hill). Small shop right on the beach, rock pools for the little ones at low tide, and gently sloping beach. Great for kayaks.

We have been to a few gardens in Cornwall and this one was the most disappointing, not lot to grab your attention. 45minutes is plenty of time to see everything

The gardens are thoughtfully laid out and the pond is very alluring, containing masses of fish and water lillies. Wonderful variety of plants, shrubs and trees - too many to mention - but the clematis, roses, hydrangea and geraniums are particularly nice. It's very high maintenance because of its size and well stocked beds and borders and I don't know... More

My wife and i have lived in the area for around 12 years. My wife came here last year with her mum and sister, and told me how amazing it was, so we went today. This place just amazed me, designed and grown on former marshland by the lady who owns the place. Trees, shrubs, flowers, etc lovely pond, and a wooded... More

Saw Marsh Gardens on 'great gardens' website and the reviews do not lie. What a remarkable beautiful garden achieved through personal love and hard work from the owners who are delightful. The river walk was magical in dappled light and sunshine reminding me of treasure youth memories of unspoilt walks catching sticklebacks and watching nature. The pond was a delight... More

I was so glad our campsite recommended this garden as a dog friendly place. It was made and is run by a man and his wife. We were fortunate in chatting to the man, who filled us in on some of the history of the garden, from the time of his grandfather to the present day. It is hard to... More

If you like 'cottage garden' type gardens not manicured or over fussed this is the place for a visit. It is an absolute delight . Lots of beautiful plants and trees, loads of birds and insects. This garden is a credit to the lady who has built and planted it by herself piece by piece from a an original cattle... More

Visited this garden with a 2for1 ticket however I would have willingly paid the full price to see such a lovely garden. We turned up at 5 o clock and were told to take our time and not rush even though they closed at 6. This garden is owned and run by a lovely couple who have dedicated the last... More

Owners welcoming and real characters. Lovely, lovely garden and a delight to wander around. The planting is superb and they obviously have put their heart and soul into creating what is a true haven away from the stresses of modern life. I loved it.
