There is a lovely long walk all around the lake with plenty to see for folk like me who can't swim and don't wish to partake of the water-based activites. There is also a cafe and... read more

Nice for a walk but put off by parking fee , its owned/ run by South West Lakes Trust who which in turn is run by South West Water by way of financing. South West Water rob everyone in the South West as it is without this.

Wonderful location with a path around the expansive lake. Water sports are the order of the day but there are some little niches here and there perfect for a picnic. Plenty of parking, peaceful and a cafe for the less adventurous.

Where do I start. Car parking: Arrived to find the overflow car park closed and the main car park full. Had to wait nearly 15 minutes for a car to leave before I was able to park; a great start! Toilets: Three toilets on site, two of which were closed, including the disabled toilets. Queue of nine people outside the... More

Flat reservoir, with a path around it. There is much better scenery in the area. Better place if you are able to go on the water. Parking is too much if you only want a short visit to the cafe and look at the scenery

I loved my last two runs around siblyback with the dogs. What I also loved is seeing a father and his daughters sharing training and leisure by him running with his two young daughters on their bikes. I felt it was similar to my experience of running with my lovely dogs who are just as much family to me. However,... More

This is a very easy walk (3 miles) along a very well made pathway around a reservoir. It is very safe for dogs and people alike. Any wildlife is well fenced in and its a very beautiful lake.

We had a walk around the lake today, the weather was good and a very pleasant experience. The same could not be said about the cream tea at the end. The scones, which we had eaten before the tea arrived, were soggy with a not too generous helping of jam and cream. The tea, which was was poured out of... More

Walk or cycle round the lake (3 miles, level), various watersports, cafe. Bring your own boat/sailboard/bike or hire them.

Phoned to book kayaking session over the phone for a fathers day treat! Really very helpful and relaxed. Took the booking over the phone, pay on arrival. Very remote location but rewarded with spectacular scenery. Checked in - Car park free as partaking in an activity - result! Made to feel welcome, not rushed, kitted out with wetsuit and all....
