I walk my dog here every day. There are so many different trails to take that you can have a different walk each time. The views are wonderful. On one side are views overlooking the river and Tamar bridge, ànd the other side (my favourite for views), is overlooking countryside where scenery seems to change throughout the year as the... I walk on kit hill twice a day with my dogs. The views are beautiful and ever changing. Keeping ones eyes open there are plenty of wild flowers to see in the spring and lots of birdlife all year.

A really nice place to visit. You can just park your car and sit and admire the views or if you felling energetic go for a walk to look at the heritage. The quarry, mineworkings etc.

Stunning views, free parking and interesting walks but there are a lot of old mineshafts here and a small active dog could possibly get into difficulty.

This is Callington's greatest asset. A great place for a walk with magnificent views in all directions especially from the top to the coast, Bodmin moor and Dartmoor . Several tracks/ paths to choose from, some of which are a bit uneven. One word of warning -this is a popular dog walking spot and some inconsiderate owners still do not... More

NB: No facilities on site but parking is free. Great for dog walks or just an afternoon stroll. Plenty of Geocaches to find and clear paths. Some paths are a little rocky and uneven though so it's not buggy friendly. Plenty of wildlife to spot and amazing views, and the quarry pool is beautiful (visit in the summer to go... More

A whole lot bigger than you would ever believe from the road and a massive amount more spectacular to boot. Well worth the trip.
