These carriage tours are fun and the carriages are large and well kept.If you are visiting with extended family these carriages can most likely fit everyone. While not all companies offer ones of this size. The location is good and prices reasonable. Our guide was friendly and answered all our questions. We went in a windy day and the carriage... More

This was a lot of fun. We took the 55 minute ride to the covered bridge. We had a great guide (Brenda) and she talked a lot about the sites we passed and filled us in and answered questions about the Amish culture. I saw a few other companies giving buggy tours that had people packed in like sardines -... More

A must if you want to learn about more of the everyday challenges that the Amish face in our society. Drivers answer all questions easily and with tact, Fellow passengers come from all over. Conversations strike up easily in the buggy. There's just the beautiful rhythm of the horses hoofbeats that calms and relaxes, if you let it.

My niece and I got to ride up front with the driver and he offered for her to drive the horses! He was very knowledgeable and lived in the area. We even passed two of his grandsons walking home from school. The ride was comfortable, very smooth. Make sure to visit their website to get a coupon.

We had an excellent driver named Ben, he was so friendly and kind to answer my many questions! We had a fun time, it was absolutely beautiful, and a great way to learn more about the Amish.

Went on the short 35 minute country side ride for $15.00 each. The buggy seats 10 people with an extra two up front with the driver. The ride navigated a busy road, which afforded us the view of cars passing the buggy on a two lane road and some close calls between cars. Then you turn onto a back road... More

We took the buggy ride from Kitchen Kettle Village with 3 "50 somethings", 2 young adults, 3 pre-teen kids and a 2 1/2 year old and everyone enjoyed it! Our driver, Nancy, let the kids take turns driving the horses and she gave us a history lesson along with the ride. She graciously answered all of our questions; even the... More

Enjoyed our day. It was bad weather but still a great thing to do, as it was enclosed nicely. Our tour guide was funny, warm and friendly. He told us about Amish life style and answered all our questions. Fun time seeing the (rainy) countryside with friends!
