Lovely house under restoration but well worth it, go round with the guide, he is brilliant, absolutely great history lesson, knew so much about the house, occupants etc. so interesting with all the juicy bits. Highly recommend

Good quality portraits, good for education and discoveries, look out for the hidden wall 'lol' see if you can find the fridge bit of an ancient one check it out

No it was not necessary to make a reservation ahead for the tours of Marble Hill House. The entrance is through the shop, where one can book on arrival. At the time we visited there was no problem with getting places just... More
