My wife and I had rejoined HHA ( £80.00...visited 25 properties last year) and decided to visit Syon House (enjoyed viewing) before Osterley Park as we are also NT members. When you drive into Osterley be very careful of the speed bumps (5mph) as they...More

A beautiful house, let down by the NT. Perhaps this is a house that should only be visited in summer. As it was, visiting on a gloomy autumn afternoon, apart from the fact that the upstairs & kitchen levels were closed for the season meaning...More

Really enjoyed our trip to the house and gardens. Such a beautiful place. The food at the stables cafe was delicious and sitting out in the sun under the trees was an absolute treat. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a lush day out of...More

Visited on a rainy Saturday so didn’t experience all the grounds but could see they were extensive and inviting. The house itself is ok but for the entrance fee of around £11 I would suggest that the house is poor value for money, but I...More

A natural and spacious place to have a pleasant time with family and friends... You have the opportunity to visit a beautiful Heritage House or simply enjoy the gardens...

We did a quick 4 mile hike around the park during an 8 hour layover at LHR. Easily reachable by Tube or Uber. Lovely spot with tree lined paths and a great coffee shop, 2nd hand book shop and obligatory garden shop. Get out of...More

The park is huge (it was raining cats and dogs when we visited during Open House London, so didn't explore much of the park, but we did walk through the garden behind the Osterley House and it is really beautiful). The interior of the house...More

A lovely day strolling around the house and gardens. Steeped in history. A beautiful house and the grounds are well maintained. The cafe is reasonably priced and the food was very good. All the staff we met were friendly. A hidden gem. Like most visitor...More

Had a wonderful Sunday evening walk. Lovely grounds and farmland. I couldn't believe that we were beside the motorway. Really good for all ages. Pleasant exercise.

The extensive gardens are remarkably rural given their proximity to London, with the M4 to the north and the Great West Road to the south. The house and garden are quickly accessible from Osterley station on the Piccadilly line, by exiting the station and crossing...More

The website says £7 for parking but it might be best to phone them +442082325050 to be sure. Also, they might then clarify the website.

Not that far as planes can be seen flying overhead at a low height. Heathrow is nearby as the crow or plane flies. So by car it takes longer, but it is worth the journey, and wont take long.
