We spent a fantastic holiday in the delightful Milking Parlour cottage, a part of the Richard Burton Art Centre complex, having found a week of available days in a very dense calendar of reservations (this says a lot!). Many points to underline: very friendly and helpful owner, warm welcome (eggs, fresh milk, cakes, and a drink in the Tea Room),... More

I love looking at the paintings in the gallery. Perfect for presents as well as my own home. Definitely worth taking a look. The cafe is first class too with home made cakes every day - the scones are to die for.

Excellent cakes, coffee and lunch. Rustic surroundings with wooden tables and chairs, friendly waitress. A welcome addition to the village and souvenir shopping opportunity.

We stopped here on a walk from Bempton Cliffs this morning and enjoyed a lovely home baked scone and cup of tea. After enjoying more time walking on the cliffs spotting puffins we went back just half an hour before they closed at 4.30 and asked if we could have a sandwich. No problem! Lovely and fresh and served with... More

Stopped off for some lunch after a couple of hours out in the wind on cliffs bird watching. Nice selections of options on the menu and despite only one member of staff seeming to cover everything nice quick service of hearty filling food. Would happily recommend.

We spotted the sign for cream teas on our way to Bempton cliffs so having enjoyed puffin spotting we returned somewhat windswept to enjoy lunch, cakes and warming drinks. A great pit stop within nice surroundings with really good service from the sole young lady serving everyone. Fab cappu-puffin-chinos and really good cakes.

Finding somewhere that is not only a good base for a couple but that will also take our dog is quite a task. We are big fans of the Bridlington area and found a cottage to rent - which is part of the Richard Burton Art Centre complex. Rockville Cottage was at one time the home of the farm labourer... More
