The Met has always been a really excellent venue, but has been greatly enhanced by the recent refurbishments. I have only been to the smaller downstairs theatre since the refurbishment, but it is a lovely space with an excellent atmosphere. There is a choice of...More

Following the major refurbishment, the Met looks great. None of its charm has been lost though. The programming is great with a wide range of acts. Why travel into Manchester if you live locally?

First visit here since the refurbishment and good to see that it's been very tastefully modernised but without losing character. The show was excellent. A very relaxed performance from an experienced artist and backed by very talented musicians.
