Voted in 2011 'Wiltshire's No.1 Golf Course'and rated in the top 100 in England. There are some stunning tee shots and none more so than the opening drive, says Andy Ryan, Golf Professional at the course. Played by Retief Goosen and Luke Donald, who said " The Manor House is a truly stunning course and I will definitely be coming back".

Came here after walking through Castle Combe (takes about 20 minutes). Staff was welcoming and attentive. They set me up with rental clubs and put me with a threesome. Course is very scenic and a bit of a challenge. Conditions with my only quibble, not bad but more of a quality muni feel than private country club condition. Still, well... More

Visited this course for the second time today. Really lovely challenging course which played well for a sunny February day. However our visit was spoilt by the unacceptably long playing time where the first 6 holes took 2 hours to play. Even the clubs own members were complaining saying that too many players were allowed on the course with not... More

Dear Phil G. Thank you for the feedback and I am so sorry you did not enjoy your round because of the slow play. We hope that our new GPS enabled buggies will now make a difference as we can see on a screen in the Pro Shop where the bottle necks are and who is causing the problems. As... More

Very friendly staff who accommodated us very last minute. As expats, we were very happy to have somewhere to go to celebrate Christmas and have a roast dinner. The food was incredibly tasty, slightly expensive for what it was, but can totally understand that holiday overheads would've contributed to this. Atmosphere was lovely, and again, the staff were incredibly friendly,... More

This is a fantastic golf course which can destroy your game if you are not playing well. The greens are about as good as any I have played and the course was in super condition. It was pretty windy so you will need to play well in strong winds as I can only assume it is always pretty breezy! The... More

Great round for jupps birthday. We had 2 four balls go out on a wet day. Great course with some really tricky holes, all made better by the complimentary towel.

Just come back from a days golf on The Manor House course. First time playing this course, and what a great course it is. Interesting layout, with all holes requiring a bit of thought and planning. Tees, fairways and greens all in superb condition. Made to feel very welcome in the club house. Would recommend a buggy, as there is... More

Staff and facilities are excellent. I was certainly glad the professional recommended a buggy. Not sure I would have made some of those climbs. Loved the halfway house, American Caravan (Airstream Bambi ). Clubhouse friendly with a layback feel to it.
