We went to Stonehenge as part of a tour. We got off the bus and one could walk or take a shuttle to the huge visitor's center. From there you would walk along a path towards Stonehenge. The surrounding area was quite beautiful with rolling...More

This is a must see attraction. It is an awh to see, however, it was pouring down rain when we went, so it was not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Yesterday I read in the London metro, more Britain have seen the Eiffle Tower, then they have Stonehenge, now I know why. 1. It doesn't cost £21 to see the Effiel Tower. 2. Its cheaper to actually go up on the tower. 2.1. Not £21...More

Thank you for your feedback and while I can't comment on the price of entry to other European landmarks I would just like to highlight a small but important point. English Heritage is a charity and proceeds from the admission ticket to Stonehenge are used...More

Stonehenge is a site of great archaeological value. As a History teacher I place huge value on such places. However the authorities have not managed to find a convenient and manageable way for people to visit the site easily, in an affordable manner and without...More

Stonehenge has been on our bucket list for a long time and we researched our trip beforehand. We did not want to be limited to the time allowed walking around and visiting the visitors center if taking one of the tours. So we decided on...More

Thank you for your review. It sounds like you had a great day. I hope you manage to fit in some other English Heritage sites with your membership. If you're in London I can definitely recommend Eltham Palace and Kenwood House.

I thought that this was very expensive unless you were an English Heritage or National Trust member which we are. It really is one of those things you have to do I guess if you are close by but personally, I would not travel any...More

Thank you for your review. We do have a regularly changing exhibition programme in the visitor centre so perhaps if you are passing our way again you will pop in with your membership and see what's new.
