What a great intimate venue in a great village location, nestled in the foothills of Yorkshire. Decent enough beer coupled with an intimate venue = 👍 The ONLY downside is parking....but there is the railway station 5min brisk walk away! Definitely go if you can....and you may bump in to your idol...

An excellent venue the sound system is fantastic, the staff were friendly, as were all the regulars. It was our first visit and we were made to feel welcome from the second we walked in, the atmosphere was amazing we'll definitely be back.

Our second visit to the Trades club, to see and hear the same band again (Pugwash). Nothing has changed from what I can see, and there is no need for change.. This place has a great sound system, friendly staff, cheap drinks and the best bands appear here. Do not be put off by the drab outside appearance. Take the... More

I was advised that the Trades Club could be described as "dinghy" but then for this type of venue this is almost a positive. I was advised correctly and it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the evening one iota. The bar staff where an eclectic bunch but friendly and, more importantly, efficient. The sound was excellent and overall... More

Hebden Bridge is in itself a beautiful village. Very picturesque. But the best thing about Hebden Bridge is when you have a gig to go to at the Trades Club. It really is a brilliant venue. The staff are all superb too. It can get very busy though and with it only having a small bar, you sometimes have to... More

Hot, sweaty concert (St. Etienne) in a tiny concert venue, this place has all the ambience of mid-90's student indie club. That is no way a criticism! Clean toilets, amazingly. A bar that doesnt attempt to rip off its captive audience selling gassy over priced rubbish (and from a persoanal perspective sell Alc-free beer....an absolute rarity in gig venues). The... More

Hot sweaty and jam packed, a great atmosphere for the right bands and a really good bar serving well kept beer. Punches well above its weight in terms of the acts it attracts, but it's easy to understand why. Must try the food next time.

I enjoyed a well irie performance by the old veteran reggae poet/ D.J. Macka B at the Trades club last week, but the venue is much more than just a small concert hall. True, there are more gigs by well known ( and lesser well known ) artists than you can shake aa stick at, but also there is a... More
