The room is fair, and average services. The place is good for senior citizens (no elevator, it is only three floors). If you require a wheelchair, please phone the hotel to reserve the room which located at ground level. The hotel does not have refrigerator in the room.

This is a great place to visit and enjoy a different side of China. The mix of people, culture and rural landscapes make for a very refreshing experience. This place was a melting pot of Myanmar, Thailand, Laos & Vietnam.mixing with Chinese assent! Staying at crowne plaza is a right choice as it keeps you in a tropical environment than the noisy town.

Small city and lovely people. Suit to stop over one or two day on the way down to Luangprabang ( by the local bus ) Daily bus departure from Xishuangbanna to Laos. River view look amazing. Lot of bar and restaurant near by,so do not miss to walk by the river.

Having visited this remote part of southern China, I was impressed by its Thai influence everywhere, from writing to the shape of the building. Enjoyed the discovery and the climate. Open houses, luscious vegetation, parks and Night markets

This is a part of China where English or French are simply not spoken. "Xishang" as the locals call the town is actually Jinghong. The region of Yunnan province in which the city is located, is Xishangbanna. It is one of those older towns that is just exploding with Chinese development. It's a bit like Puerto Vallarta, a bit like... More
