Tröegs Brewing Company was founded by Chris and John Trogner. Since 1997, the brothers have been handcrafting world-class beers that combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new American brewing. While only available in the Mid-Atlantic region, Tröegs Brewery is known nationwide for their award-winning Troegenator Double Bock, highly-desirable seasonal releases like Nugget Nectar and The Mad Elf, and brewery-only beers like the Scratch and Splinter series. Tröegs Brewery in Hershey, Pennsylvania provides guests with a complete brewing experience. The brewhouse is located in a 5,000 square foot tasting room that opens onto a beer garden. Visitors are able to observe the brewing process firsthand, and take a self-guided tour along a window-lined hallway for a close-up view of the entire brewery.

I had to pick friends for type of visit but it was my adult daughter and I. I highly recommend spending the $5.00 for the guided tour. If not for the personal tour for the 2 beer tastings. Our guide was awesome. He was actually one of the beer heads that volunteered time when the brewery was first starting. After... More

We went after seeing the many reviews here. It's an interesting place and you can see all the machinery and tanks used to make the alcohol. The food was not bad. However, be prepared for large crowds as I don't know when off-peak is for this place. Also, be prepared for frustration with parking because the parking lot for the... More

Stopped by for lunch and end up staying the entire afternoon! The tour was amazing. The lady was knowledgeable and the place is huge! It was well worth the price since for $5 you get a about 2 1/2 glasses of amazing beer throughout the tour place a suvinier glass. The food was tasty but very "Adult" menu including lots... More

Went to Troegs with my boyfriend over the summer, we had an awesome time! The brewery staff were great and very knowledgeable. We do a lot of brewery tours and you really got to get up close and personal on this one. I have to also mention how delicious the food here is! After the tour we went to their... More

Had lunch at Troegs today -- the tomato soup, grilled cheese combo was wonderful. I am not a beer drinker but the beer drinkers in the group liked the beer they ordered. A different setting and casual atmosphere.

I liked the beers on offer here at microbrewery...I think their taster collection is worth a try if one is unsure on type of beer to enjoy...only thing is they need to add some Veggie food options, there is hardly anything for the veggies....servers also need to improve a little bit, overall good microbrewery though

Once upon a time Troegs was vegetarian friendly when it came to their food choices. Now everything seems to have bacon. Disappointing. Yes, you can request no meat but then what's left? Come on master chef, get creative. Welcome to the 21st century. Their beer is good. Bartenders are always a challenge. It's as if they are trained to be... More
