If you have an hour to kill in the summer then taking a trip on the Pride would be a good way to spend the time. It's relaxing a and fun little trip down and back up the river.

The Pride is a nice Harrisburg attraction for the summer and early Fall. It's a nice ride that provides a great view of the City. When waters are lower in the summer their route can be restricted a bit. You board from City Island and...More

Took my Dad on river cruise for celebration prior to Senators baseball game. Timing was perfect and staff very accommodating to senior citizens.

The Pride had closed down weekday operations, but did a special voyage for a group of WWII VETS and their families. The trip was wonderful. The captain was very accommodating to our group and it was a wonderful day on the river!

The facility was ran down. No bathrooms at dock and only 1 one on deck. The food is catered and not very good. Chicken lacked any flavor and beef was half raw. The cruise entailed traveling only a short distance and then circling in the...More

Decided to do the boat tour at the last minute, glad we did. The ride was narrated by a recording that was easy to hear and understand giving a brief history of the city. Very enjoyable.

Boat dock is located on City Island. Don't go if there is a minor league baseball game since the parking is crowded. Pleasant enough 45 minute boat ride but a shortage of outside seating. Interesting commentary about the river and Harrisburg but kept you wanting...More

We had a great time...The music went on for two hours before the boat left the dock. We then had a nice sunset cruise on the river. The interior of the boat is air conditioned and they have food service. There is a limited bar...More

For several years I have had the pleasure of enjoying the Sunday church service on the Pride. It's a wonderful time to reflect on life as you enjoy the water. Shall we gather at the River ?

I would guess it to be about 200 yards but if you go on the right sided path towards the batting cages you can avoid the steps. I have seen many people with canes and walkers make the trek. Good luck.

Shantamr3 has the best suggestion: go to the website. Also try the Harrisburg Visitors Center.
