A Bit of Nostalgia

A great piece of nostalgIa. Not many drive-ins still left in the USA. They have first run movies and reasonably priced food. A great place to take the family!

Haar's is a great place to bring the family. They just recently replaced the movie screen and they installed a smaller screen for whatever reason. I would of thought they would put the same size or maybe a larger screen up but it is still a quality establishment and well run.

There are very few drive in movies left, and I am so pleased that Haar's is still open. There is nothing more fun than gathering up the kids to catch some movies under the stars. Couples...watch out for the friendly guy that knocks on your steamed up windows to sell you Smitties soft pretzels...lol. This has been a favorite place... More

My husband, 3-year-old daughter, and I went to see "Finding Dory" at Haar's last weekend. It was my daughter's and husband's first time to a drive-in, and we all had a great time! If you've never been to Haar's, be sure to get there at least an hour and a half before the first movie starts; otherwise, you risk not... More

There is something extra special about family movie night when it's at a drive-in and under the stars. We took our 7-yr old granddaughter and it brought back memories of going as a kid and taking my kids before her. She especially enjoyed "camping" in the back of the truck to watch the movie. The value is outstanding for kids... More

It is the place to be on a weekend night during the summer. 2 movies for the price of one. Your own vehicle and snacks if you want. Arrive early for a good parking spot! Play games until the movies start. Watch some of the newest releases for a small fee! Cost is $8 for adults and bring your own... More

We love the Drive in and the new screen makes a difference! Kids are $2 and Adults $8. A family of 4 can see two movies for 20 bucks! The snack bar is also reasonably priced and have everything from popcorn and DELICOUS fresh cut fries to radios and batteries. Movies start around 9 give or take a few minutes.... More

I had not been to a drive in since I was 7 or 8 years old, so this was a treat. The drive in theater is a dying breed, so when we moved back to my husbands home town it was on the top of the list of places to go on a date night. We tried unsuccessfully to attend... More

It is a great blast from the past! They have upgraded the sound system and it is a great place to spend an evening. I took my kids for the experience and they loved it. The only problem is it fills up fast. Plan to get there very early to get a spot. We got there 2 hours before the... More

First of all, we feel the drive in experience is enjoyable overall. We go every summer and have a great time. Get there several hours early if you want a spot near the front or if you are going with friends so you can park beside each other. The movies start around 9:00. We've never had a problem until tonight.... More
