This mall has always struggled since it first opened in the early 1980s. When it first opened, it mainly consisted of only shoe stores and a couple of anchor stores. The Chambersburg Mall reached it's peak in popularity around the 1990s when the mall was at full vacancy. Since then, however, the mall has only degraded to the state it... More

My family and I go to this mall once or twice a month. They have a good variety of stores, but there is a lack of variety when it comes to restaurants/food. They keep it clean and they have nice holiday decorations.

Do yourself a favor and travel a little farther and... More

Very small map with few shops and several were closed when I visited in the middle of the day. I wouldn't waste my time when there are several shops and stores just a few miles down the road.

We aren't from this area but we needed to get a sweatshirt so we looked up the closest clothing store in the gps and it brought us to this mall. This mall seems like it's fading fast. There just weren't very many appealing stores. I'm sure this mall was great back in the day but it definitely needs some updating... More

When you're there on a Friday night and it's dead, that tells you everything. Lots of empty stores and nothing to do.

This mall is dying. Losing JC Penney very soon. Lost Sears last fall. Not much to go to this mall for except to walk without crowds.. Very sad mall.
