The house lights dim... A hush settles over the audience in this Lancaster theatre... When the cast steps on stage, you're in for a treat. Our Bird-in-Hand Stage offers exceptional entertainment including musical theatre and magic shows. It's an intimate theatrical experience that keeps Guests coming back. Presented in conjunction with Blue Gate Musicals, relevant and meaningful Broadway-style musicals from Amish Country have made our stage one of Lancaster County's must-see stops for live performances. In 2017, we are thrilled to welcome back the illusions of Brett A. Myers and to present the new musical Mennonite Girls Can Cook. So escape your everyday world for a little while and enjoy our live stage shows. You'll find yourself laughing, holding your breath, gasping, tapping your toes - uplifted and fully entertained. To enhance your Amish Country theatre experience, come early or stay after the show to taste the bounty of our table. Enjoy a meal at our Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord or grab lighter fare at the nearby Bird-in-Hand Bakery & Cafe. And if you're not in a hurry to head home, we offer several options for lodging. We invite you to stay and experience Smucker family hospitality. You'll find even more reasons to applaud!

I wasn't expecting much in the way of quality although the story line seemed interesting. Well I was very happily proven wrong. The actors could have easily been in an Off Broadway show. Their projection and singing quality were very enjoyable. I was shocked to...More

The current show is Magic and Wonder. It is good family entertainment. There is a bit of comedy thrown in amongst the illusions. It is a small theater, even so the lighting was quite well done.

Thank you for your question Donna. Because of the tiered seating, they all have a good view. I prefer about 5 rows back in the center, but that's just my personal preference.
