This is an "off season" visit--late December--so we found the market closed on Thursday when we arrived... however, a return the next day did not disappoint. In fact, we quite enjoyed the lack of crowds and slower pace. All of our favorite vendors were still present and open and we could actually take some time to "look" and visit. Perhaps... More

We visited during weekday but no food or grocery only craft and carpentry stuffs. We like the design and creative decorating goods

Never go to the area without stopping here. Great local goods and products. Don't miss the delicious soft pretzels and the amazing apple fritters. Local meats and cheeses and maybe the best cider that I have ever tasted. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

A little bit of everything under one roof: delicious Geoff's chocolates, whoopie pies, tea breads, coffees( by the cup or the pound), light-up pictures, spices, cinnamon bread, cold-cuts, fresh fruits & vegetables.....and more!

We really wanted to see the amish life style and it was nice place to begin in. The local there was very nice and told us where we should visit next

Always fun to visit this market. Only open a few days per week. Nice food booths and crafts. Gift shop downstairs was a disappointment. Great breakfast at the snack bar.

I had looked this place up before coming to Pennsylvania (our 1st time in PA) & wanted to see what it was. I'm glad we did. Vendors selling different things from breads & desserts to jellies & salsa. They have samples sitting around to try. They have the best meats. A little pricey but good quality. We got bacon, sausage... More

We were there on a Monday and the market was closed. The gift shop adjacent to it is excellent. We bought a beautiful flag and some other treasures. The staff here is so nice and helpful, we enjoy visiting this shop every visit to Bird In Hand.
