I had looked this place up before coming to Pennsylvania (our 1st time in PA) & wanted to see what it was. I'm glad we did. Vendors selling different things from breads & desserts to jellies & salsa. They have samples sitting around to try. They have the best meats. A little pricey but good quality. We got bacon, sausage... More

We were there on a Monday and the market was closed. The gift shop adjacent to it is excellent. We bought a beautiful flag and some other treasures. The staff here is so nice and helpful, we enjoy visiting this shop every visit to Bird In Hand.

This place isn't huge but they have everything. We love the Lebanon bologna from one of the meat shops. It's the one all the way to the left as you walk in. They have crafts, jellies, jams, honey, sweet treats, not so sweet treats and beverages.

We make a point to stop here every time we visit Lancaster. They have a wide variety of products & you get to sample before you buy which is nice. We never leave there without some kind of baked good. There's a few baked goods counters, a meat counter, cheese counter, jams, jellies, salsa's, spreads, fresh fruits & vegetables, candy... More

Prepare to be amazed when you walk through the door! All the choices of different foods! All the different "grazing stations"! Always a stop when we visit!

Very busy on market day! The market building just goes on and on! We enjoyed our visit though by the end of it were a bit overwhelmed by all that it offers. Definitely worth a stop and good visit.

Plan on visiting when you are not in a rush to leave as there is so much to see. The selection of local food is huge; chocolate candy, cheese, flavored popcorn, jams & jellies, pickles, cookies, cheese, honey, pies, a large selection of meat and so much more. The prices are reasonable especially for locally grown / made products. I... More

Lots of fun. Loved seeing all that was offered. Lots of baked goods and candy. Some fresh vegetables and fresh meat counter. Some were not Amish and would have preferred them all to be. Very nice people. Go check it out. Even a place for burgers and sandwiches.
