I was surprised, there is a bit to see inside the museum. This fort was used by the British during the French and Indian War. It is not the original site of the fort. They were updating inside.

Cute little museum with a lot of local history. Off the back of the museum is a small park at rivers edge that includes a small playground and grassy areas for the kids to unwind.

A piece of history not to be missed. They appear to still be in the midst of properly displaying items but they have numerous items to view and a nice history line including carriages and a full sized Conestoga wagon. Nice museum store.

If you are into military, this is a good place, the kids may not appreciate it, but a good quick stop.

A nice stop for the entire family. Nice displays, knowledgeable staff and a fair admission fee. We enjoyed a walk along side the river, had a picnic, fed the ducks and geese and enjoyed a beautiful day.
