Great day trip to take in beautiful scenery and old covered bridges. More than half of the bridges can be driven through and the directions on the website are pretty good. Many of the spots do not half cell service, so it's best to have a paper back up of directions. Most of the property around the bridges and some... More

We recently took the covered bridge loop and we're just amazed to find such scenic wonders in western Pennsylvania. The craftsmanship that goes into these bridges and the maintenance required to keep them is something that always and truly brings me much joy. I would recommend this to anyone who has a few hours to spend on a ride that... More

A nice afternoon's drive through the rural countryside with lovely views of covered bridges. Gravity Hill was also a fun detour and sparked theories and discussion about how this is possible. Would like to come back when trees are in bloom. Winter is a bit dreary.

My wife and I during a quick get-a-way between Christmas and New Year's Eve went to Bedford. We did a little shopping and ate in some great restaurants (see my other reviews) and decided to take the covered bridge driving tour. Even though it was winter we thoroughly enjoyed the drive through the countryside and stopping to see all of... More

Spent an afternoon visiting all of the bridges but the farthest from Bedford. Great collection of covered bridges as well as a chance to see some nice scenery. Recommended day trip while in the area!

We only did 4 of the bridges. The tourism magazine gives pretty accurate directions to the bridges. Beautiful scenery near the bridges. We got lots of great pictures. Roads are safe to travel & pretty well marked.

I love covered bridges and I was very impressed by the variety along this loop. The brochure map that can be picked up at a local hotel etc. has detailed can't miss directions from one bridge to the next. They are pretty close together (I think 10 minutes was the max between two of them). If visiting Bedford, and you... More

We visited 9 covered bridges in just a couple hours on a fall Sunday morning. It was enjoyable. We started out with a list on the cell phone, but half way into the trip there wasn't any cellular signal. Lucky for us there was a gas station nearby that had brochures with directions to the bridges so we were back... More

This was a great motorcycle drive for us through beautiful country. However, wished some of the bridges where better marked.
