We had never been to this lighthouse after many trips up and down the Coast. Glad we took a detour off Hwy 101 and made a stop! Beautiful views from the overlook/ parking across the road looking out at the ocean, river and jetties. The...More

We love lighthouses - we were visiting our friends in Oregon - we are from Pennsylvania. Our friends took us to the lighthouse and the 3 of us took the tour for about $22 total (that could have include a few postcards). The fee if...More

Great tour of an amazing one of a kind red and white working lighthouse. The history of the lighthouse and the people who worked there. Excellent tour and experience with a museum and gift shop.

The day was rather windy and over cast. Only saw it from the outside there were a lot of people in line to go inside. Grounds and the view from ground level was spectacular. Coast Guard maintains a housing complex there for Coast Guards Members.

The (now disestablished) lighthouse is a tribute to the many lives saved by Oregon coast lighthouses during the dozens of decades before radar, Loran, and satellites. Stop by and take a look, then drop down the hill, and visit Ziolkouski Beach Park, especially if you...More
